About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as an ADP Authorizer. In this role, you will work with our clients to provide clinical evaluations, including admission assessments, ADL assessments, and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical evaluations and assessments to identify client needs
- Consult with local vendors to initiate equipment trials and complete applications for funding
- Provide education and training to clients and families on seating and positioning, independence with activities of daily living, and wheelchair and adaptive aide use
- Record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts
Requirements:
- Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists
- ADP Authorization is a must-have
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred
