As an Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales and marketing initiatives, showcasing our products, delivering training, and offering application assistance to a diverse clientele across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert technical assistance for RF and microwave test and measurement devices.
- Organize and conduct local seminars and training sessions for customers.
- Offer valuable technical insights to the product development team.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a customer-facing application engineering role.
- Proficiency with test instruments such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and vector network analyzers.
- Familiarity with communication protocols including LTE, 5G, 4G, and WLAN is advantageous.
- Strong background in supporting clients with a comprehensive understanding of the electronics sector.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent customer interaction abilities.
- Proficient problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region, with occasional international travel.
- Experience in instrument automation programming (C/C++, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python) is a plus.
- While candidates based in the Montreal area are preferred, those from Ottawa may also be considered based on qualifications.
