Position Overview

In this role, you will deliver specialized administrative assistance to an Investment Advisor or a team of Advisors across various responsibilities. Your interactions with clients and team members will be pivotal, as your initial impressions will significantly influence our business and customer perceptions.

In addition, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing documentation and providing updates for Investment Advisors prior to client meetings
  • Generating reports to analyze client accounts; engaging with customers to guide them on products and services, while identifying referral opportunities
  • Managing and creating leads, ensuring accurate referral coding management
  • Submitting marketing materials for approval, assembling client information packages, maintaining marketing resources, and distributing communications
  • Familiarizing yourself with and adhering to regulatory requirements, covering all aspects of both new and existing account paperwork and marketing resources
  • Delivering superior client service by promptly addressing phone calls, mail, and electronic inquiries using your comprehensive brokerage knowledge
  • Ensuring a remarkable client experience in every interaction with team members, peers, and clients; managing your tasks effectively with discretion
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures, fostering a culture focused on risk management
  • Utilizing feedback to continuously improve individual and team performance for clients
  • Actively participating as a team player, consistently enhancing your knowledge and keeping others informed on progress, issues, or other relevant activities
Qualifications:
  • Ideally possess an Undergraduate degree or community college diploma
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook
  • Licensed by the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) as an Investment Representative or Registered Representative
  • Strong communication skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively, while maintaining confidentiality and working independently
