Position Title: Clinical Team Manager - Acute Medicine and Neuro/Stroke Unit

Position Overview:

Are you a Registered Nurse with a strong commitment to leadership and patient-focused care? We are seeking a Clinical Team Manager to oversee our Acute Medicine and Neuro/Stroke Unit, Stroke Prevention Clinic, and Speech Language Pathologists.

In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with ensuring operational and clinical excellence, fostering high-quality evidence-based care, and cultivating robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

As a Clinical Team Manager, you will provide guidance, accountability, and support to the interprofessional team, ensuring a superior and safe experience for patients and their families. Additionally, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at promoting best practices and continuous quality enhancement within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse with a Master's degree (or currently pursuing)
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • 3-5 years of management/supervisory/leadership experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care medicine, stroke, geriatrics, and/or chronic disease management
  • Proven transformational leadership capabilities
  • Understanding of quality standards for stroke and best practices in stroke care
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to research and education
