Position Overview

Concert Properties is in search of a Corporate Communications Manager to enhance its communication strategies and community engagement efforts. This role will report directly to the Director of Corporate Communications and will play a pivotal role in managing the organization's digital presence, including its website and social media platforms, while also spearheading various corporate communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Communications

  • Assist in public and media relations, along with the planning and execution of communication strategies.
  • Provide project-based communication support, ensuring effective planning and implementation.
  • Oversee the corporate website, including updates and collaboration with external contractors, while ensuring security and stability with the IT department.
  • Manage communications for community-based initiatives and corporate community projects.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy.
  • Create and manage media content, coordinating with external public relations agencies.
  • Monitor media and social media channels, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and provide actionable insights.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and best practices in social media.
  • Lead the capture and editing of corporate images and videos.
  • Edit and refine content produced by team members as necessary.
  • Plan and manage special corporate events.
  • Prepare annual and quarterly reports for various corporate entities.

Internal Communications

  • Oversee departmental communications as needed.
  • Manage internal channels and content.
  • Capture and edit internal events and gatherings.

Corporate Marketing

  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, both print and digital.
  • Support the development of new advertising campaigns.
  • Lead submissions for industry awards.

Additional Responsibilities

This role will also involve:

  • Providing support for various projects as needed.
  • Ensuring adherence to corporate branding and messaging standards.
  • Contributing to the development of annual budgets.
  • Assisting the broader Sales & Marketing department as required.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • An undergraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant communication experience.
  • Strong writing and editing capabilities.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools.
  • Excellent skills in image and video capture and editing.
  • Familiarity with design software such as Drupal, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and SEO principles.
  • A keen attention to detail and accuracy.
