Job Title: Transition Planner

At Raymond James Financial, we are seeking a skilled Transition Planner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless transition of our clients to our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the National Sales team in transitioning clients to Raymond James Financial;
  • Customize transition requirements to meet the unique needs of each client;
  • Maintain open communication with transitioning clients and their support staff;
  • Provide education and support on our policies and procedures, including operations, compliance, marketing, technology, and investment products;
  • Offer remote or onsite support as needed;
  • Manage regular transition calls and meetings with clients and their teams;
  • Participate in internal projects and initiatives;
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Fundamental knowledge of investment concepts and practices;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills;
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment with a high level of service and attention to detail;
  • Discretion and tact when handling confidential information;
  • Proficient communication in French is an asset;
  • Previous experience with Dataphile is an asset.
Education and Experience:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree;
  • 3 or more years' experience in the Investment Brokerage or Financial Services Industry.
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Investment Representative licensing;
  • Completion of both Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practice Handbook Course (CPH).
Travel:
  • Willingness to travel within Canada up to 40% of the time.

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $71,000-76,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
