Job Title: Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our team at North Strategic. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic client programs, building strong relationships with clients and agency teams, and driving results through effective media relations and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic client programs that drive results and brand influence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agency teams
  • Manage media relations, including media outreach, pitching, and coverage monitoring
  • Assist in building project workbacks and setting milestones and deadlines
  • Support campaign logistics, including event planning and execution
  • Work with junior team members to coach, guide, and support them within larger account teams
  • Provide timely feedback to management on progress against goals

Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate diploma in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or related discipline
  • 2-3 years of communications/agency experience
  • Consumer, sports, and/or fashion/lifestyle work experience is an asset
  • Strong attention to time and task, with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience in crafting compelling pitches and releases
  • Strong expertise in core media relations tools, with enthusiasm to research or trial new products/tools
