Plant Controller

CB Canada is seeking an experienced Plant Controller to lead the accounting and finance department. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee the planning and direction of all accounting operational functions, manage financial data, and guide departmental staff.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Analyze and organize financial data to meet internal client expectations
- Execute factory finance responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting
- Monitor and analyze variances, providing explanations and recommendations to management
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead the plant finance team, evaluating and coaching existing staff
- Build a high-performance finance team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, meeting regulatory requirements
- Maintain all accounting principles and processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS/US GAAP regulations
- CPA designation
- Manufacturing industry experience
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- Cost accounting experience and knowledge
- Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
- Ability to manage a finance team
- Strong Excel skills
- Proven communication skills
