Plant Operations Manager

Job Title: Plant Controller
CB Canada is seeking an ambitious Plant Controller to lead their accounting and finance department. This leadership position involves overseeing the accounting and finance functions, planning and directing all accounting activities, managing financial data, analyzing internal control systems, and guiding departmental staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and organize financial data effectively
- Execute factory finance responsibilities, including budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure planning, forecasting, and reporting deadlines are met
- Lead and coach the plant finance team, providing guidance and support
- Provide consultation on financial and operational matters, including cost accounting and internal controls
- Maintain accounting principles and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- CPA Designation
- Manufacturing industry experience, preferably in a leadership role
- 7+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on finance and operations
- Cost accounting knowledge and budgeting skills
- Finance team management experience, with a proven track record of success
- Strong excel skills and effective communication skills
