As an integral part of our operations at Manitoulin Transport, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks that ensure smooth daily functions. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and schedule driver dispatch based on client requirements, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages and ensure timely availability of products.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols by verifying that appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is utilized for each task.
- Manage daily transaction processing, including sales, payments, purchases, deposits, and e-invoice backups.
- Generate invoices for lubricant products as necessary.
- Provide assistance to customers during product pickups, ensuring a positive experience.
- Conduct daily inventory audits and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through various communication channels, including phone, in-person, and email.
- Guide customers to the appropriate personnel for additional assistance when needed.
- Accurately submit payroll hours on a weekly basis.
- Participate in month-end procedures, including inventory reconciliation.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support operational efficiency.
