Culinary Services Supervisor

The role of the Food Services Supervisor at WINGS BLOCK involves overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team, ensuring that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring effective training in job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to optimize productivity and meet service demands.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service offerings adhere to established quality control standards.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste, while estimating the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Budgeting: Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates to support financial planning.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports regarding food service operations.
- Food Preparation Oversight: Supervise the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely service.
This position is set in a fast-paced environment where the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing being common.
Qualifications- Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Candidates should have between 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in food service management.
- Personal Attributes: Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
