About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Seasons Retirement Communities. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for residents and guests, ensuring dietary needs are met and presentation is appealing.
  • Operate and maintain food production equipment and food preparation areas in a clean and safe manner.
  • Comply with all food preparation standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Wash, clean, and store dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparation and service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our culinary team.

Requirements:

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certification.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively, and follow written/verbal instructions.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • High standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset.
