We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of employee performance and customer feedback.
  • Culture and Diversity: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, and Indigenous people.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • English language proficiency.
