Hospitality Operations Director

Aramark Canada is seeking a Hospitality Operations Director to oversee our food and beverage services in Winnipeg MB.
POSITION SUMMARY: In the role of Hospitality Operations Director, you will strategize, manage, and guide a team dedicated to achieving operational and financial objectives, fulfilling client expectations, and ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional service and hospitality. Your responsibilities will encompass food and beverage services, which may include retail operations, catering, and premium dining experiences. This position will also involve the execution of concerts, catering, and various large-scale events. The Hospitality Operations Director will serve as the primary liaison for our clients and will report directly to Senior Leadership at Aramark.
PROFILE OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: You are an exemplary Hospitality Operations Director who will inspire a team to deliver outstanding service to our clients and guests. With a strong alignment to our clients' vision, excellent relationship-building capabilities, financial expertise, and a commitment to safety, our leaders create impactful experiences daily. Ideal candidates will possess comprehensive operational oversight of high-volume retail services across multiple outlets, experience in managing extensive catering services, particularly in event settings, and a proven track record of consistent revenue growth, service excellence, and exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Overall accountability for operational success, including revenue enhancement, profitability, guest satisfaction, and safety standards.
• Complete P&L responsibility for food and beverage operations.
• Manage client relationships at the venue while providing hands-on leadership and execution of operations.
• Lead a substantial team of managers and staff across various units and concepts.
• Innovate new concepts to boost existing revenue streams for public food services, premium offerings, and catering.
• Develop operational strategies and execute business development plans for growth.
• Recruit and nurture new and existing management talent.
• Engage effectively with clients, guests, and team members regularly.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in large venue and multi-unit management is essential.
• Experience in managing premium events and concessions is required.
• Demonstrated success in Direct P&L management within a similarly scoped environment.
• Proven ability to lead a large team of culinary and operations managers in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• The capability to lead in a complex environment with a strong focus on client and guest service, entrepreneurship, while building and expanding a robust business is crucial for success in this position.
• A passion for food and beverage with the ability to identify and cultivate successful concepts. Effective communication skills with clients and senior management are necessary.
• Flexibility to respond to changing demands. P&L accountability and/or experience in contract-managed services is preferred.
• Candidates must be willing to engage directly with staff and operations and be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
