Job Summary:

The Director, Contracts will lead the commercial operations function, responsible for negotiating and managing contracts with customers, vendors, and partners. This role will oversee the development and implementation of commercial strategies, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, and third parties to secure favorable contract terms and conditions.
  • Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of commercial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful contract management.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Contract Documentation: Oversee the development and review of contract documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting and analysis on commercial performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Commercial Experience: 8+ years of experience in commercial operations, contract management, or a related field.
  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience leading a team of commercial professionals.
  • Education: Degree in Business, Law, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, ability to analyze complex commercial data, and experience with contract management software.
