KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the standard duties assigned to all Appliance Territory Managers, the Senior Regional Sales Manager holds additional critical responsibilities, which include:

  • Undertaking projects and administrative tasks as designated
  • Addressing challenges and supporting initiatives within the assigned territory as needed
  • Exhibiting professionalism and a positive attitude in daily operations while leading by example
  • Completing other senior-level tasks as assigned

Essential Duties:

  • Engage with customers to provide service for vendor products and deliver sales and support services in designated retail locations
  • Travel to client sites to service vendor products and ensure product displays are well-maintained
  • Receive and respond to customer inquiries effectively
  • Share information about new products and gather customer feedback regarding vendor offerings
  • Educate customers on product knowledge by demonstrating equipment and providing application training
  • Address customer sales and technical inquiries
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and efficiently
  • Facilitate sales, marketing, and promotional initiatives by familiarizing accounts with the latest sales strategies
  • Mediate any discrepancies between customers and vendors
  • Assist in processing special orders
  • Organize items on shelving units according to established plan-o-grams
  • Manage and oversee inventory levels, making adjustments as necessary
  • Attend and represent the company at trade shows and training sessions as required
  • Provide a weekly summary of hours worked, locations visited, and sales impact at retail
  • Collaborate with designated Customer Manager and/or AMS Regional Manager when necessary
  • Adhere to all AMS and customer policies and procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 100% travel is required, including overnight stays
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and days as business needs dictate
  • Comprehensive knowledge of brand-name appliances is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including lifting items above shoulder height as necessary
  • Frequent standing, bending, and twisting are required
  • Strong communication, presentation, writing, and technical skills are essential
  • Valid driver's license and insurance are mandatory (must meet company standards)
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both customers and vendors
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of vendor sales experience is preferred
  • At least 1 year of field sales or customer service experience is preferred
