Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Fantasyland Hotel is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service in the housekeeping department. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping staff and ensures that all employees are performing accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the housekeeping staff, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Act as a liaison between the housekeeping staff and the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring that communication is clear and effective.
  • Conduct regular room inspections to ensure that quality standards are being upheld, and report results to the Executive Housekeeper and Hotel Management.
  • Monitor the department's on-boarding and training processes to ensure that new staff are properly prepared for their roles.
  • Respond to guest concerns and complaints related to housekeeping, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are being followed in the housekeeping department, and that safe work practices are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory role in the housekeeping department of a high-volume hotel property.
  • Completion of hospitality management training and/or certificates in applicable programs.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with all employees, including mentoring and coaching.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.

Terms of Employment:

  • This is a full-time position that requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
