Position: Quality Care Liaison
Salary Range: $70,677 - $88,399 - $97,239
Contract Type: Term position
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (core hours 9am-3pm)
Location: Vancouver Coastal Region

Role Overview
Are you committed to making a significant difference in the lives of self-identifying First Nations individuals? This role blends cultural insight, empathy, and professional expertise.

As the Quality Care Liaison, you will provide culturally relevant support, facilitating feedback across various sectors including acute care, residential services, mental health, public health, home health services, and community systems. You will be instrumental in implementing the FNHA approach, transforming client feedback into actionable improvements in care.

Candidate Profile
To thrive in this position, you should hold a university degree in social sciences, health, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience working with First Nations organizations and communities is essential, ideally within the Vancouver Coastal Region. Additional qualifications such as training in patient safety investigations and quality enhancement, as well as cultural safety or trauma-informed care training, are highly advantageous. Your background should reflect a strong ability to engage with First Nations patients and families with cultural sensitivity, humility, and a focus on respect, compassion, and empathy.
