Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our educational development and implementation efforts. As the Director of Educational Development and Implementation, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining teaching and learning support services in accordance with the Northwest Territories' Education Act and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs and services that meet the needs of students and teachers
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the Educational Renewal Framework: Directions for Change
  • Provide leadership and guidance to educational teams to ensure effective implementation of programs and services
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational partners and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Education or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in educational leadership and development
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful educational programs and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
