Executive Director

The Children First Society is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead the day-to-day operations of the Children First Centre in Inuvik, NT. As the key leader of the Society, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and children, while also providing strategic direction and support to the volunteer Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the overall operations of the Centre, including legislative requirements, budgets, capital assets, and programming and services.
- Develop and implement policies, programs, and strategic activities to further develop the Children First Society.
- Collaborate with the Board and Staff to plan, develop, and implement effective leadership and management practices.
- Ensure the Centre operates in a safe and healthy environment, meeting all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Public or Health Administration, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in Early Childhood Education/Administration and management.
- Strong project and time management skills.
