About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machining and Tooling Inspector to join our team at Canadian Textile Services Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our machine parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts with precision and accuracy.
  • Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly, ensuring optimal fit and finish.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to inform your work.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet quality standards.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
