About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join our team at TRANS-IT LOGISTICS INC. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and control budget and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Authorize the development of specifications for products or services to meet business needs.
  • Manage contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
  • Review and process claims against suppliers to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Advise senior management on logistics and supply chain matters to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure timely completion and quality of work.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
