About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Juniors Foods Services Ltd. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure the highest level of quality and service in our fast-paced food outlet environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient workflow
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
    • Establish work schedules and ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced food outlet or concession environment
  • Physical Demands
    • Standing for extended periods
    • Physically demanding work environment
