Are you detail-oriented and seeking a fulfilling career in the Insurance sector? As a Health and Dental Claims Specialist, you will be essential in accurately processing health and dental insurance claims while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and process health and dental claims, ensuring precision and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Authenticate and verify submitted documentation, confirming provider qualifications and implementing necessary checks.
- Exhibit proficiency in independently managing various claim types while maintaining high productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Engage with members and providers to gather missing information, adhering to established turnaround times.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and actively contribute to improvements.
- Gather necessary information to assess claims, determine reasonable costs, and make informed decisions based on contract terms.
- Ensure the validation of received documents, confirming provider acceptance and applying appropriate controls based on authority levels.
- Completion of a college diploma (DCS) or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong analytical abilities and sound judgment in decision-making.
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate availability.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Two years of experience in processing health and dental claims.
- Bilingual proficiency in French (both spoken and written).
