Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Sales Associate to join our team at our Whistler clinic. As an Optical Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our patients, educating them on the best eyewear choices, and ensuring they receive the best in value and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring they receive a positive and personalized experience.
- Educate patients on the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, including frames, lenses, and coatings.
- Interpret optical prescriptions and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to returning patients' eyewear.
- Submit prescription eyewear requisitions to our manufacturing lab.
- Arrange and maintain retail display areas to ensure a visually appealing and organized store environment.
- Contribute to store retail sales goals by providing excellent customer service and promoting our products.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment.
- Previous optical experience is ideal.
- High level of comfort using technology and computers with solid proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Track record of learning new systems and processes.
- Professional and approachable manner and a love of meeting and interacting with people.

Our Whistler clinic is located in the mountains of beautiful Whistler, near Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort. We are surrounded by mountain views, hiking and biking trails, and plenty of nearby restaurants for lunch options. Our small clinic is a tight-knit team of 4-5 staff members that enjoy taking advantage of our wonderful location to get together outdoors and enjoy the local opportunities.
