About the Role

As a Business Development Advisor at APCHQ, you will play a key role in soliciting and recruiting employers to join our mutual prevention programs in occupational health and safety. You will be responsible for promoting and securing the participation of employers in our programs, as well as identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solicit and secure employers to participate in our mutual prevention programs.
  • Assist clients with the signing of necessary documents and ensure timely follow-up on their files.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop leads.
  • Respond to inquiries from employers and provide them with information about our programs.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with clients by providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and promotional tools.
  • Participate in the annual retention process as needed.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Marketing or equivalent experience in sales.
  • At least three years of experience in sales.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety, an asset.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, an asset.
  • Strong prospecting and client acquisition skills.
  • Positive, persuasive, motivated, and dynamic.
  • Determined and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Availability to travel.
