Key Responsibilities- Compound and Package Medications: Prepare and package pharmaceutical products for dispensing to patients, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- General Clerical Duties: Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls, to support the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that medications and supplies are readily available when needed.
- Assist Healthcare Professionals: Provide support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, assisting with tasks such as patient counseling and medication therapy management.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
