About the Role

Curtis Paving (2003) Enterprises Inc. is seeking a skilled Asphalt Worker to join our team. As an Asphalt Worker, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload construction materials from trucks and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to construction sites and store them in designated areas.
  • Asphalt Paving: Mix, pour, and spread asphalt to create smooth surfaces.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work, including removing rubble and debris.
Work Environment

As an Asphalt Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must be physically demanding and able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Physical Demands: You must be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Tools and Equipment: You will be required to use steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, and a safety vest.
