About the Role

Curtis Paving (2003) Enterprises Inc. is seeking a skilled Asphalt Paver to join our team. As an Asphalt Paver, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials from trucks and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to construction sites and ensure they are properly stored and secured.
  • Asphalt Paving: Mix, pour, and spread asphalt to create smooth and even surfaces.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications and prepare surfaces for paving.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Work Environment

As an Asphalt Paver, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. You must be physically demanding and able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety vest are required.
