About the Role

Curtis Paving (2003) Enterprises Inc. is seeking a skilled Asphalt Worker to join our team. As an Asphalt Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load and unload construction materials, such as asphalt and concrete, from trucks and equipment.
  • Material Preparation: Mix, pour, and spread materials to meet project specifications.
  • Site Preparation: Level earth to fine grade specifications and pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth surface.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Specialized Tasks: Assist in the construction of driveways, industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings, residential areas, roads, and bridges, and sidewalks and curbs.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and pressure to meet project schedules.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and working in a variety of weather conditions.
