Job Title: Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at GameStop. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in the store, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Determine staffing requirements and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Computer and Technology: Maintain knowledge of point-of-sale systems and other technology used in the store.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that the store is secure and safe for customers and staff.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate efficiency, hard work, integrity, and a positive attitude.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail environment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 37.5 hours per week
