About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Paving Supervisor to join our team at VALLEX DEEP CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the paving process, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate costs and materials for paving projects
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and supervise workers
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on site
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and recommend personnel actions
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to relocate
