Paving Foreman/Woman Job Description

VALLEX DEEP CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a skilled Paving Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the paving process, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for paving projects
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Recommend personnel actions and requisition materials and supplies
  • Supervise workers and projects, and train or arrange for training as needed
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Basic security clearance and bondable
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
