The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Millwright Technician to perform planned and breakdown maintenance on various equipment, including bilge pumps, motors, gears/drives, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and costs
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson status with a strong background in heavy manufacturing/mining/marine experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work overtime, weekends, and evenings as required
