Mental Health Clinician

Job Summary:The Mental Health Clinician will provide high-quality case management, clinical treatment, and advocacy to clients with operational stress injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and co-occurring mental health and addiction issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based modalities, including recovery-oriented cognitive therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care.
- Identify treatment goals with patients and coordinate with broader clinical teams as needed.
- Deliver high-quality psychoeducational and process groups using evidence-based modalities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and follow-up on patient aftercare plans, including referrals to peer-led recovery programs and community-based counseling.
- Complete detailed documentation and charting in accordance with company standards.
- Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, Psychotherapy, or Occupational Therapy.
- Registration in good standing with a professional body, such as CCPA, BCACC, CCAC, or BCCSW.
- Experience in facilitating group programs and therapeutic groups is required.
- Experience working in a residential mental health and addiction treatment setting is an asset.
