Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing clinical education materials, providing expertise, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and certify clinical education materials in connection with clinical investigations.
  • Provide clinical insights and expertise on devices, procedures, and protocols throughout the life cycle of clinical investigations.
  • Interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and proctors to ensure seamless execution of clinical trials.
  • Provide education and training on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques to physicians, hospital personnel, and hospital staff.
  • Develop and continuously improve training curriculum, training materials, and training tools based on clinical trial experience, company guidelines, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Management to plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts.
  • Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive activity, and assigned accounts.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in a related medical device and/or clinical environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Training experience in a clinical/technical environment.
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time.
Preferred Skills
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and ability to operate general office machinery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
