Job Description

CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and support to our nursing staff, as well as developing and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, including education and training
  • Conduct quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nursing and healthcare
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current registration with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or education role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
