First Onsite - CA is seeking a full-time Lead Water Damage Technician to provide immediate assistance to residential and commercial customers experiencing water-related emergencies. Position Summary:

The Lead Water Damage Technician supports emergency response and restoration projects to ensure the goals and needs of insurance companies and our customers are met. The Lead Water Damage Technician will provide assistance and support as required to move projects along in a timely manner. Responsibilities include using hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, removing debris, setting up site protection, and potentially handling mold, asbestos, lead, and other hazardous materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Train new water damage technicians and/or laborers on-site.
  • Provide support for onsite emergency response activities under the direction of a Water Damage Technician.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and uncluttered work environment that minimizes cross contamination.
  • Learn and practice correct procedures when environmental work is required.
  • Assist co-workers with task completion as needed.
  • Work activities may include physical labor, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces).

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • WRT certification is an asset.
  • Availability for scheduled on-call and after-hour shifts.
