Position Overview

Fatima Pacheco is seeking a dedicated Live-In Child Care Provider to support our family in a nurturing environment. This role involves providing comprehensive care for children in a residential setting.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: Previous experience in child care is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Non-smoking and scent-free home.
  • Rural area setting.
Responsibilities
  • Accompany the family on trips, providing assistance with child supervision and household tasks.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
  • Implement discipline strategies as requested by parents.
  • Guide children in personal hygiene and social skills development.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy home environment.
  • Organize engaging activities, including games and outings for children.
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals.
  • Prepare children for rest periods.
  • Supervise and care for children during daily activities.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments.
  • Support the emotional well-being of children.
Target Audience

Responsible for supervising and caring for a diverse group of children.

Safety and Security

Completion of a vulnerable sector check is required.
