Responsibilities- Child Supervision and Housekeeping: Travel with our family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
- Personal Care: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Discipline and Social Development: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents and instruct them in personal hygiene and social development.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children.
- Rest and Leisure: Prepare infants and children for rest periods and organize activities such as games and outings for them.
- Transportation: Take children to and from school and to appointments.
- Emotional Support: Tend to the emotional well-being of the children.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Work Environment: Non-smoking and scent-free environment.
- Work Setting: Employer's home in a rural area.
- Security and Safety: Vulnerable sector check required.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, team player, time management, patience, and honesty.
