We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Child Care Provider to support the daily needs of children in a nurturing environment. This role involves providing attentive care and ensuring a safe atmosphere for children.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: Previous experience in child care is considered an asset.
- Non-smoking household.
- Scent-free environment.
- Accompany the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and household tasks.
- Provide bathing, dressing, and feeding for infants and children.
- Implement discipline strategies as directed by parents.
- Guide children in personal hygiene and social skills development.
- Ensure a safe and healthy living space.
- Organize engaging activities, including games and outings.
- Prepare and serve healthy meals.
- Assist infants and children during rest periods.
- Supervise and care for children throughout the day.
- Transport children to school and appointments.
- Support the emotional well-being of children.
Responsible for supervising and caring for a diverse group of children.
Safety and SecurityMust complete a vulnerable sector check.
