Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Steeves and Rozema Group. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense medication and administer treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct dressing changes and provide wound care
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Supervise and direct on-floor team members
  • Participate in ongoing assessments of resident care needs and monitor their condition
  • Follow established duties and job routines outlined in our policies and procedures
  • Support the principles of Continuous Quality Improvement
  • Support both team and organizational goals
  • Report any building equipment maintenance issues
Requirements
  • Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Demonstrated ability to participate and function in a team environment
  • Understanding of and commitment to resident-centered care
  • Other related certifications an asset
