The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all bulk and finished goods meet our high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sample Preparation and Analysis: Prepare and analyze bulk and finished goods samples, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Standard Maintenance: Maintain and control all bulk and finished goods standards or masters.
  • Instrumentation and Maintenance: Perform instrumental and wet chemistry tasks, set up and operate lab instrumentation, and perform general maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot instrumentation and method problems, and recommend solutions.
  • Test Result Interpretation: Interpret and document all test results, calculations, and observations, and complete comprehensive reports as required.
  • Out of Specification (OOS) Testing: Coordinate OOS analytical test results, conduct investigations, and complete OOS analytical test reports.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory of lab supplies and reagents needed for analysis, and consumable items for lab instruments.
  • Compatibility Testing: Perform compatibility testing of new formulations and new packaging components.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Maintain compliance to all health and safety standards, SOPs, GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Education: BSc in Chemistry or related field.
  • Skills: Excellent computer skills, good knowledge of Excel, detail-oriented, exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, superior communication skills, and ability to work independently or within a team environment.
