About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Whistler Personnel Solutions. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management
    • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets
    • Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment
    • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Budgeting and Cost Control
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control
    • Identify and implement cost-saving measures, optimizing project profitability
  • Team Leadership and Communication
    • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project partners

Requirements
  • Education
    • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in project management or a related field
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong project management skills, with experience in construction or a related industry
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and multiple priorities
    • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
