Job Summary

BWXT Canada Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Cambridge, Ontario. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial aspects of contracts, preparing sales invoices, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor budget, costs, and cash flow for fixed-price and time-and-material contracts
  • Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers, including time-and-material billings
  • Account for foreign exchange forward contracts and ensure accurate revenue recognition
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts, financial reports, and variance analysis reports
  • Collaborate with project managers, purchasing, and other departments to ensure accurate financial data
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Accounting designation or enrollment in an accounting designation program
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and data manipulation techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues
