About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at 14436831 CANADA INC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Service Offerings and Operational Procedures

Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure that our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively. This includes determining the type of services to be offered and implementing procedures to ensure that they are delivered to the highest standard.

Conduct Performance Reviews

Conduct regular performance reviews of our staff to ensure that they are meeting the high standards expected of them. This includes providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.

Cost Control and Management

Develop and implement cost control measures to ensure that our restaurant is operating within budget. This includes negotiating with suppliers for food and other supplies, and managing our inventory to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure that our restaurant is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, including provincial and territorial liquor legislation and health and safety regulations.

Inventory Management

Oversee the management of our inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and managing our stock levels to ensure that we have the products we need to meet customer demand.

Health and Safety

Ensure that our restaurant is a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff. This includes implementing procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, and ensuring that our staff are trained in health and safety procedures.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, including responding to their complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Event Management

Manage events and functions at our restaurant, including weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions.

Supervision

Supervise a team of 11-20 staff members, including restaurant managers, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business.

Experience

1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, with a proven track record of success.

Language

Fluent in English.
