About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tutoring Coordinator to join our team at Sylvan Learning. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our learning centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
    • Review and evaluate existing administrative procedures to identify areas for improvement
    • Delegate tasks to office support staff to ensure timely completion
  • Operations Management
    • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
    • Carry out administrative activities of the learning center
    • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Provide excellent customer service and communication to students, parents, and staff
    • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives
    • Work effectively as a team player to achieve common goals
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills
    • Efficient interpersonal skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Flexibility and time management skills
    • Collaborative and team-oriented approach
