About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at IC Early Learning Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Development
    • Provide high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
    • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
    • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with early childhood educators and supervisors to plan and implement programs that meet the needs of our children.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports on children's progress and development.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, including planning and maintaining a clean and organized space.
    • Monitor children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and report to parents, guardians, or supervisors as needed.
  • Communication
    • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any concerns or issues that may arise.
    • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and supportive environment for our children.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
    • Experience
      • Experience in early childhood education is an asset.
    • Certifications
      • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
