About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infants' Daycare Worker to join our team at IC Early Learning Center. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding: Ensure the infants and toddlers are clean, dry, and fed on a regular basis.
  • Child-Care Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the unique needs and interests of each child.
  • Storytelling and Activities: Lead activities that promote language development, social skills, and emotional intelligence through storytelling, singing, and exploration.
  • Health and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and healthy environment, ensuring the children's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Communication and Reporting: Keep parents and guardians informed about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns through regular reports and discussions.
Requirements
  • Education: A College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in infant care or early childhood education is an asset.
  • Certifications: Possession of an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is required.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and crouching. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
