Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, working closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and service.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with advances in medical imaging technology and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
  • Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to integrate and evaluate complex data to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
